About Chris Murphy Chris Murphy is a Los Angeles–based violinist , composer, and bandleader celebrated for his genre-bending approach to Jazz and improvisational music. With a career spanning decades, Murphy has toured across the U.S. and Europe and released an extensive catalog of acclaimed recordings. His musical voice blends influences from Jazz, Classical, Folk, and World traditions, resulting in a sound that is both distinctive and emotionally resonant.
